PCOS & Metabolic Health Support

Focused metabolic support for women who are already managing PCOS elsewhere

If you already have a PCOS diagnosis, whether from LUNA or elsewhere, and specifically want focused support with the metabolic side — insulin resistance, weight, cardiovascular risk — without going through a full PCOS work-up again, this shorter pathway is built for that.

This page deliberately isn’t a duplicate of our full PCOS Metabolic Health Clinic. If you’d like the complete, integrated assessment — reproductive, endocrine and metabolic care together — that’s the right place to start instead. This page is for metabolic support specifically, once a PCOS diagnosis is already in place.

This may be for you if:

You don’t have to start from scratch just to get focused metabolic support.

What this pathway covers

We review your existing PCOS diagnosis and any relevant results you already have, then focus specifically on the metabolic side — insulin resistance, glucose metabolism, lipid profile and weight — building a plan that can sit alongside whatever reproductive or dermatological care you’re already receiving elsewhere, or combine with our other LUNA pathways if useful.

What's included:

If you'd like the fuller picture

Some women start here and later decide they’d benefit from the full, integrated PCOS Metabolic Health Clinic, which combines reproductive, endocrine and metabolic assessment in one pathway — that’s always an option, and nothing you’ve already done here goes to waste if you make that move.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from the PCOS Metabolic Health Clinic?

No — many fibroids cause no symptoms at all and simply need monitoring. Treatment is considered when fibroids cause bleeding, pain, pressure symptoms, or affect fertility.

This depends on your specific fibroids, but options range from medication through to incision-free radiofrequency ablation, which targets fibroids precisely while protecting healthy tissue and supporting faster recovery.

Some fibroids can, particularly those distorting the uterine cavity, while others have no effect. We assess this individually as part of your fibroid mapping.

Myomectomy removes fibroids while preserving the uterus, which matters if you want to retain fertility or simply keep your uterus. Hysterectomy removes the uterus entirely and is considered when that’s the right choice for you, not the default.

Usually with pelvic ultrasound, which can identify most fibroids clearly. MRI is sometimes used for more detailed mapping before treatment, particularly surgery.
